Bill is a seasoned executive and visionary entrepreneur with a track record founding profitable and innovative companies. He built a software company in the mid-nineties that returned investors 25-fold gains within five years, and subsequently built and sold a national delivery logistics business. More recently he has built a profitable regional coworking operation called Workbar. Bill holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and began his career at MIT/Lincoln Laboratories.

COO

David has 25 years of experience in power, gas, and renewable energy commodities and infrastructure development. David co-founded and successfully exited two energy businesses: first an energy supply company and subsequently an energy brokerage servicing business customers across the country. David holds a Masters in International Law from Tufts Fletcher School and is an avid skier and mountain biker.

SCIENTIST

Carl holds a PhD in Analytical and Physical Chemistry from Syracuse University. He has over 20 years of experience in spectroscopy as well as chemical imaging on samples ranging from macroscopic to microscopic. Carl brings the analytical chemistry skills necessary to refine our byproduct into high purity alumina.

SCIENTIST

James holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Yale University, focusing on metal-catalyzed reactions and their kinetics. Following Yale, James attended Stanford University as a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow, developing novel Pd-catalyzed reactions. He is an inventor of multiple patents, and he is an author of >35 peer-reviewed publications.

ENGINEER

Drew is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over a decade of design experience that spans system engineering, product design, test, and manufacturing. Drew brings years of diverse experience leading million-dollar projects.

MATERIALS ENGINEER

Saam holds undergrad degrees in mathematics and materials science from Colby College and Columbia University. He previously worked at VEIR, another energy startup based in the Boston area. Saam brings experience in ceramics, materials characterization, and modeling to Metal Fuels.

Creative Director

Lisa is a seasoned Creative Director that has worked on many international brands including Intel, Sprint, and Schwab, developing brand strategy and marketing campaigns that transform the way people feel about brands.
